I am Laura Packer. I’ve just graduated from a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Communication Design) at QUT.
My creative interests and technical abilities lie in motion graphics, photography, illustration, print, web and interactive design. I also enjoy integrating sound design and film into my work when I get the opportunity. Developing new concepts in any of these creative areas is something I really enjoy doing.
I’m inspired by designs that successfully blend visual appeal with intuitive interaction to effectively convey a message, but I also kind of like it when things just look good for no reason.
Having worked in Web Design, I have a good understanding of both the aesthetic and technical/functional aspects of design. With such a wide skill set, I feel I have a lot to offer to prospective employers, particularly in the areas of Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Design and Motion Graphics.
