0J3A1028Laura Packer – visual designer/animator living and working in Brisbane, Australia.

Since graduating from QUT with a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Communication Design) in 2010, I’ve been working in the areas of motion graphics, visual effects, video production, photography, illustration, print, web and interactive design.
Over the years I’ve worked with several creative companies including Lumë, Grow Media, Liquid Animation and Laundry Group, on a wide variety of projects for brands such as Qantas Foundation, Brisbane Marketing, Boral, Hilton Hotels, Brisbane Powerhouse, Powerlink, Baulderstone, Wella, Truckline and Sebastian Hair. I’ve also enjoyed working with visual artists Grant Stevens and Daniel McKewen on projects commissioned by the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia and Metricon Stadium.
Among freelance jobs, I’m currently also working with The University of Queensland, creating MOOCs for the edX platform and Urban Circus, making videos for all sorts of large infrastructure projects, including the Victorian Government’s Melbourne Metro Rail Project and Level Crossing Removal Project.
